I was going grocery shopping this morning when I saw the water squirting across the cellar. I shut off the water and called Donnelly plumbing.

Matt was knowledgeable and very helpful.

I had Donnelleys install a new furnace 2 year’s ago and they gave me two $50 gift card as part of the deal, for future use… I had them come back a year later, just for an annual inspection which they indicate is required to keep the manufacturers warranty in force (Which I am skeptical about) . Then when I went to use a $100 dollars worth of gift cards they said I could not use them. So I had to pay in credit card for the service. Then recently, They called me and asked, could they perform an air conditioner check out before the summer. It was $79. I asked the representative on the phone, could I use the gift 2 $50 gift cards and she said you absolutely can and she would put that in the notes. So the young representative came, he was new on the job, but was an OK guy and did a good job. It needed a cleaning on the outside compressor, Which I thought was appropriate.however they were charging $479(what I thought was high, As I am a retired, HVAC professional) … I said I would do the cleaning myself, as I have done hundreds of these and said I would pay the $79 with the gift cards. He said oh sorry you can’t use those, despite what was in the notes, so I was very upset about this as I would not have scheduled this check up, since I am retired(74years) and on a fixed income. He called his supervisor, but to no avail. So in conclusion, I am disappointed that they would not stand behind the commitment that one of their people in customer service made. They sent me a nice report, and in it, they sent a picture of my Renault tankless hot water heater, With a green all OK on it.. The funny thing is that I did not ask him to look at the tank with hot water heater, as I installed it myself the prior year and now right after he left, the Hot water heater cut off in the middle of the shower and I end up taking a cold shower. I should’ve watched him down in the basement but foolishly I did not. I don’t know if he did anything but it’s just coincidence that the hot water heater only a year old is now having problems that I have to investigate. So I would not recommend Donnelly’s, not because of poor quality work, but because they don’t stand behind their commitments and have predatory practices. Derrik Angstadt is a knowledgeable, efficient and friendly technician who prepared my kitchen for installation of a dishwasher. I definitely would like him to do more plumbing-related work at my house. Derrik performed in the same knowledgeable, efficient and friendly way when he installed the dishwasher, taking time to test it to ensure it operated successfully prior to finishing the job. I would recommend Derrik for complex, extensive installation projects such as a dishwasher, where much can go wrong if not carefully installed.

They came quickly and solved our leak without any fuss.

Big job replacing a boiler, couldn’t be happier. Very clean, detailed, and organized. Took them all day and they worked the whole time.

Update Technicians are very helpful and professional. I do appreciate their service. -—————————————————- Customer for many years, paid for maintenance service, and had equipment failure. Donnelly's wanted to charge $450 to replace a condensation line that is nothing more than vinyl tubing that connects to a pump and goes to a drain. I installed it myself for $25 and now Donnelly says it has voided my warranty. Donnelly's wants their customers to pay their high maintenance fees with little regard for their customers. I would give one star and hate to do this because the technicians are terrific. They are always professional and courteous. The company itself is looking to cash grab customers through unreasonably high prices.

First time using Donnelly. Everything went smoothly from initial call to the visit. Nick came within the time frame and did a great job fixing my toilet and faucet and made some adjustments for better water flow. He was courteous and friendly. Very satisfied.

Original post: Very friendly and professional- each service man that has been out has had the same amazing service and are so friendly and honest! With exception of salesman Wade — he was dishonest and lost a huge sale. Canceling all service with Donnelly and going with local family run! See comments below. Update 10/21/24: I am changing my 5 star to 3 stars. What I wrote above is still true, however we will likely be looking for another company. I took a day off of work and waited until 4:30 when a gentleman called to tell me they had 4 techs that called out today and they won’t be making it. You wait until the end of the day to make these calls? AND I texted earlier in the day - HOURS prior with no response. Customer service is going downhill. He told me he had 20 people to reschedule. That takes 8 hours?! I work in a business that makes calls. If my team would take 8 hours to make 20 calls they would be fired. Im even more upset because this is the third time this has happened - but by far the worst. Other times I was notified night before or first thing - so was able to get to work. Update 6/27/25: we needed new HVAC unit and water heater and had serviceman out to advise. A quote for water heater was emailed to us a month or so prior for tanked WH but we wanted tankless. Serviceman could not give quote for systems so he came back a few days later with Wade. We explained we are out of town but my parents could be here and we would be on phone. Dispatcher and serviceman knew this and said fine. Wade made such an issue of it and all we asked for was quotes in writing. He said “we don’t do that.” And “I guess I can write on paper.” I commented “you have ALREADY sent me emailed quote just not for what we want.” It was such a struggle and we just gave up. He came back in house and then started asking for the other quotes we received. All we wanted was best quote doe what we wanted sent to us. I was contacted by Nick, a “senior leader,” via email. He wanted to speak with me about experience. Left no phone number so u replied back to email about 3 weeks ago and asked to cancel service plan. No reply back. I then sent another message and I just see they attempted to charge my CC (good thing I proactively blocked). Advice: go with local family run where they care about you and not always $$.

Great experience yet again! Dan was super friendly and knowledgeable. Explained everything to me as he went and solved my problems quickly. Donnelly’s is great.

My dad had his kitchen faucet replaced today by James Bernier. James was very thorough with the installation paying close attention to detail. He was professional, personable and fun to deal with. Thank you, Donnelley’s, for your quick response time. The turnaround time was about 4 hours from the time I placed my call to when James arrived.

Khalij Whitaker arrived for a late appointment to fix our A/C during the June 2025 Heatwave. He was very methodical and reviewed the unit and the situation, making a recommendation and then repairing the unit. We are very appreciative that Donnellys sent Khalij on a late call to help us during this incredibly hot summer. Thank you!

Robert was excellent! Professional, personal, and thorough! Today Brandan diagnosed the problem before he even looked at the AC unit. He explained corrective options clearly and thoroughly. And fixed the problems in a very timely manner. He explained follow up maintenance. Very professional and personable!

Friendly and knowledgeable

Tom provided excellent service, explaining with clarity problems and their solutions. I've had Gold Star annual inspections since 2022 and Tom performed the most thorough examination. After showing me the abnormal PSI readings, he proceeded to replace the pressure reducing valve. Over the years I accepted the somewhat weak water flow and was surprised what a difference the replacement made Thank you Tom.

Brandon was very nice. Felt comfortable asking questions and he was simply a nice guy.

I feel sure that Donnelly’s has great plumbers and HVAC technicians, but we alway ask for Tom for any plumbing inspection or need. He is exceptionally skilled, honest, kind and very thorough. I always feel confident in any plumbing suggestion he might make for our home because my wife and I trust him completely. Donnelly’s continues to provide us with five-star service for our plumbing and HVAC needs. We continue to be very pleased with the service provided to us. ************************* January 18, 2025 My wife and I noticed the air coming out of our heating ducts was cool so we called the office Saturday morning. With a cold snap approaching we wanted to be sure our equipment was working. Natajia (I think I got the spelling of her name right) took the call and although only two technicians were on duty on Saturday, managed to get us on the list for that afternoon. She was really great. Justin Cooper came out, quickly diagnosed the issue (it was not a major one) and took care of the problem in about 15 minutes. We were very thankful and appreciative. Justin was very knowledgable, explaining in detail to my wife and me the problem and how he fixed it for us. The heat was back on with no further issues. We have had a service contract with Donnelly's for many years and we have recommended Donnelly's to our friends and colleagues without reservation. September 17, 2024 Domingo Clendaniel serviced our heating system to get the house ready for the winter and once again, we could not be more pleased with the services he provided. Donnelly’s Joseph Garber did another great job at our home. This was free quarterly maintenance review that come with our subscription to their service. Joseph was thorough, had meticulous attention to detail, and examined all our plumbing to ensure tip-top performance. He found a leaky kitchen faucet, researched for a replacement part and ordered on the spot. He’ll be back to install once the part is received. He also checked quality our water to ensure it was within proper levels—which it was. Once again, Joseph & Donnelly’s Plumbing Heating & Cooling exceeded my expectation!

Tom was awesome. He went out of his way to help explain the problem and offer us multiple solutions. He was very friendly and kind. The best customer service I have experienced in a long time.

When things don’t work out as planned, you find out just how important you are as a customer. Jake Howenstein worked tirelessly to resolve our AC issues. When a part he needed wasn’t available that day he returned in the evening and installed window units for our home. He knew we were heading into a heat wave and wanted to ensure we were comfortable until he could get the part he needed. Well above and beyond expectations and we are very grateful for his time, thoughtfulness and dedication.

We had to get a new air conditioning system due to a 5/23/25 power surge.EricJanwas the salesman who came to inspect and see if the unit was able to be fixed. It was not able to be fixed. We got a very fair and reasonable deal to replace our Mitsubishi Mini Shifts. Once. We figured out to best finance, the Donnelly crew was nothing but the most kind and considerate professionals. They came, were extremely polite and knew what they were doing. Both my wife and I appreciate the superb service. Looking forward to our annual check ins. Thank you.

Domingo Clendaniel installed new special filters on our 3 HVAC systems. He was very polite and very careful, turning off the power to the units before starting the fairly complicated installation. He also fixed a uV bulb on one of the units which had worked loose (not part of the original work order). The total amount of work was completed in about only 30 minutes and everything works great, I would highly recommend Donnelly's and Domingo for any HVAC work you might need.

We used Donnelly Plumbing for years until their own HVAC GUY told us that they ran the condensation pump INTO OUR RADON GAS EXHAUST PIPE. This was draining for over a year. We called them back out as the pump had stopped working due to the pipe being flooded with with water. NOT ONLY DID THEY CHARGE US IN 2024 THEY CHARGED US AGAIN TO REPLACE THE PUMP!! I called them 5 times and still no call back. I went to their LANSDALE office and it was locked,. We are now at a loss of $1500 and they continue to take no accountability. Then we get this feedback request. BY ALL MEANS DO NO USE DONNELLYS PLUMBING!!! FIND A COMPANY WHO WON’T RUN A DRAIN LINE TO YOUR RADON PIPE AND THEN TAKE NO ACCOUNTABILITY AND STILL HAVE THE. The tech was very professional. Put shoe protectors on to enter house. Checked the thermostat due to humidity message. Suggested we leave the fan on during the heat wave but did not detect humidity in the house! His suggestion seems to have worked! The message has not appeared since he turned the fan on. When the work was completed he walked me through everything that had been done, explained how the new system worked, and made sure that all of my questions had been answered. I could not have been more pleased with my experience as a customer.

Stanley and his co-worker, sorry forgot his name!, we’re here promptly at 730 and worked in the heat til after 4 pm. They were diligent, hard working, went the extra mile, kind and courteous. The installation and removal of old equipment went very smoothly. I cannot say enough wonderful things about these two men. Huge accolades! Deserve the highest praise. Clear a clogged kitchen sink drain

I was surprised that the guys didn’t get finished till 10:30 at night. Part of the reason is that we have zone control dampers, which added more work. I don’t like that each zone has a thermostat and not just a sensor.

We had a fantastic experience with Donnelly's Plumbing, particularly with Tom, who came out to address a leak under our kitchen sink, at the garbage disposal. We really appreciated how quickly Tom was able to respond to our call and arrive at our home. Tom was not only incredibly friendly and kind, but he was also highly efficient. He quickly assessed the issue, made clear recommendations, and then expertly performed the necessary repairs, ensuring everything was correctly reinstalled. While he was here, Tom also provided valuable recommendations for a new water softener and a replacement garbage disposal. What stood out was his complete lack of pressure; he simply offered information and options, which we truly appreciated. We ended up moving forward with most of his suggestions and now have clear information for follow-up on the other items. The entire process was smooth and stress-free. We're very grateful to Tom for his prompt, professional, and genuinely helpful service. We highly recommend Donnellys Plumbing!

Nick came to my home today to replace our water heater. Nick is excellent!!! He explained everything to me before he started. Quoted the price while giving me options. His work is outstanding!! He was very clean and labeled everything for me. He explained the valves at the end. Which is very helpful. I could not be happier with this very professional outcome. In closing, the entire time Nick kept the building code in mind to make sure if I ever had a home inspection there would not be any problems. What plumber does that? Thank you Nick. You are truly a gifted plumber!

Donnelly's representative, Matt, arrived promptly at our house and inspected our a/c unit. He was very thorough and friendly and recommended a replacement capacitor which he showed was highly rusted. He immediately replaced to item at a fair price. I would recommend Donnelly's in the future.

It felt to me like everyone at Donnelly - customer service, sales, installation and repair - is interested in more than just making a buck. When an entire HVAC system goes down in summer, you want someone like Donnelly there to be respectful, understanding, patient, considerate and receptive of your situation. They got a quick appointment scheduled, explained all the options for getting the A/C back up and running (which sadly meant replacing it), worked above and beyond in researching and providing the best available new system, then sent out an awesome duo to complete the entire system installation in one day - July 3rd, no less!! The house is cool again just in time for a hot and humid day. Thank you to everyone at Donnelly - especially Tyler and his superhero sidekick for the installation; and the ever-patient Dillon in sales. MM It’s October and we’ve now joined Donnelly as a member household which basically gets you three checkups per year and discounts on any work that needs to be done. We just had a plumbing checkup with Nick (and his capable sidekick Joe). They addressed a running toilet, leaky drain and a clogged sink with skill and professionalism and were able to toss in a side dish of humor to what had been a hectic start to the day for at our house. Great work, great humans. They double checked and triple checked everything to be sure there were no issues with their repairs and then explained all that had been done. While plumbing is always expensive (like most other household repair costs) the membership brought a discount on the job. We continue to enjoy our new relationship with Donnelly. Thanks to Nick, Joe and all of the support staff at Donnelly. Update Jan 3, 2024 - another appointment with Nick L from Donnelly and another 5-star review. Everything has been great from scheduling (and having to reschedule) to the finished job. Nick kept me posted on each step including the materials he was using a why. All costs were explained up front and I’ve not had any markups to the original job quote. Thanks to Nick L and everyone at Donnelly’s for continued exceptional service and dedication to your clients. Update Feb 29 2024 - Had a routine maintenance check today with Rob H. - another positive Donnelly experience. He was friendly, knowledgeable, answered questions about the 9-month old HVAC system and provided skilled service. When finished, he made a few recommendations for us to consider - no high pressure up-sale like you get with other companies. Donnelly continues to be a reliable company for our heating and plumbing needs. Thank you, Rob and Donnelly! Update May 1 2024: Rob came out to perform the spring maintenance check on our new Rheem Endeavor HVAC SEER 2 system that Donnelly had installed in late 2023. Everything is still running smoothly and our winter electric bills were cut almost in half! Rob is a smiling, friendly, knowledgeable and thorough young man who definitely aims to please his customers. Donnelly continues to provide excellent technicians, service and support for us. Update June 12, 2025: Khalij serviced our now 2-year old Rheem Endeavor today. He arrived on time with a dazzling smile, ready to get to work! He was thorough and focused in his inspection of both our HVAC and condenser units. Joe did a great job!.. He listened to my attempts at ridding my sink drain of the bad odor that was plaguing me for weeks. He walked through with me the drainage piping, sizing up possible sources and causes of the odor. I'd been wondering if it was caused by partial plugs at various possible locations. But, Joe felt it was from the sink drain itself, even though I'd put lots of baking soda and white vinegar down it. He was right; and, he had the job quickly completed, leaving my bathroom spotless and even clean smelling! JJ

Our plumber Dan was incredibly knowledgeable and professional. He took his time to make sure everything was done right, fixed the toilet perfectly, and even gave me helpful tips to avoid future issues. It’s rare to find someone this thorough and honest. I’ll definitely be calling him again for any future plumbing needs!

Natajia (I think I got the spelling of her name right) took the call and although only two technicians were on duty on Saturday, managed to get us on the list for that afternoon. She was really great. Justin Cooper came out, quickly diagnosed the issue (it was not a major one) and took care of the problem in about 15 minutes. We were very thankful and appreciative. Justin was very knowledgable, explaining in detail to my wife and me the problem and how he fixed it for us. The heat was back on with no further issues. We have had a service contract with Donnelly's for many years and we have recommended Donnelly's to our friends and colleagues without reservation. September 17, 2024 Domingo Clendaniel serviced our heating system to get the house ready for the winter and once again, we could not be more pleased with the services he provided. He was able to shut off the water and install the new pressure release valve so we didn't have to rely on the unreliable water company tech who didn't show a couple of days ago. Joe also trouble shot a persistent pressure problem with my kitchen faucet. Checked a couple of potential sources in the faucet with no answer yet. Will return to check a valve source. I sincerely hope that I can adequately express how grateful we are and how much our family appreciates the excellent service we received from Donnelly's Plumbing it's not at all surprising to us because we've been customers for several yrs. initially we were impressed with this company quite a few yrs ago when our daughter's water heater pilot went out in the middle of a winter storm her basement would often flood the technician worked tirelessly to get it up & running then he lifted the water heater high enough so should the basement flood again the water heater would be safe & he was right we never had the problem again. Our most recent service call was the worst case scenario our daughter's sewer line needed to be replaced they're team never fails to do their due diligence but despite their best efforts the line had to be replaced from the house to the street. That day the field supervisor Michael Wilson arrived at our home the man was the epitome of superior customer service. He introduced himself & showed us the pictures from his team. He assured us that even though were at the worst case scenario that Donnelly's considered they're customers as family & would leave no stone unturned that he was completely at our disposal & would do whatever he could to make us whole. This man help us on every level he absolutely made us feel like our problem was his problem he helped us obtain financing & was extremely knowledgeable & kept us informed with every aspect of the process our daughter & two grand daughters were unable to use any water in they're home which severely impacted not only they're household but ours as well, Mike took one of the worst situations & made it so much better we could not have made it though this without his help. My daughter has sump pump failure in her basement where her two year old plays and we were concerned about the danger of mold. Found Donnelly’s website on internet and called to talk to Lucas who immediately understood our concern and scheduled Caleb to quickly visit and assess situation. Caleb was professional courteous and I could tell immediately he had the experience and expertise to resolve our problem. He presented three options to us and explained each in detail. Replaced sump pump with plans to expand Pitt size early next week for long term solution. I was so impressed with the entire experience and appreciate all they did for us.

We are going through a bit of a nightmare at our house with a broken sewage pipe draining into our basement, which we just remodeled. From the minute that we found out that we had an issue, they were there to answer any questions and offered options and empathy for our situation. I have been using Donnelly's for five plus years now since they installed my hvac system. I always request Matthew Feiller for my service/maintenance calls. If I get a notification that Matthew is unavailable for my requested appointment time/day, then I request a reschedule day and time for him. He is polite, professional, knowledgeable, friendly, answers any questions I have and most important, he doesn't push a service recommendation on you at that immediate time, allows you to decide when you are ready. A thumbs up to Matt Feiller! Update 5/22/2025.... I had our six month maintenance check up today on our ac/heat pump. A different technician showed up, earlier than my requested time slot so I was not happy after I was told by the schedualing person that my regular and requested tech, Matt Feiller would be available. I also did not receive the email that says who the tech would be or when arriving UNTIL the tech was already in my home. This new tech told me that a coil cleaning and a part needed to be replaced but only verbally gave me a total price, not a breakdown of what those charges were so I wasn't going to say yes to the repair at that moment, besides, my unit is under warranty for all parts. Upon calling the office to complain, I then received the email of the breakdown costs. So I am changing my 5 stars to 4 stars rating.

Great service job by Matt today. One of the 2 units was not in an easy place to access, but he had no complaints doing the work necessary for the maintenance checks. He was very helpful in getting the outdoor coils cleaned on the outside units as well. Highly recommend!

Please don’t use this company unless you want a headache and to be lied on a repeated basis that they care about your concerns and will take care of it. I will say this, the plumbing was only a minor headache, it’s the work that they went paid for in January 1 to do, in fixing the yard and driveway which now has a hole that is growing by the day. That work is still not done May 20 and no date when it will be done. My husband had to put up the netting in the yard because on top of it looking terrible with straw, the netting was starting to grow into the ground. This is work that we paid them for. Don’t try to talk to the owner because apparently whoever that is is to busy to talk to his customers. Best to avoid.

The real test came when the homeowner (me) got tired and a little cranky and was urging them to finish up. They never lost composure and everything ended amicably. I'd also like to recognize Wade A. He's very personable and low pressure sales manager. My wife and I both enjoyed working with him. He also interceded when the homeowner (me, again) got cranky and helped smooth things over.
