Daniel had to come back to reverse the cartridge in our tub because the hot & cold water was reversed. Also, when he put in the new tub drain, he didn't clean the rust underneath (or tell me about it so I could clean it). We now have a ring of rust that I have been trying to remove. I also had to clean the tub afterwards because he left it dirty.

Donnelly's is our go-to place we need something fixed. George the technician was absolutely amazing! We've been having issues off and on for the past year and George was able to figure out what it is and it's running smoothly. My father has Alzheimer's and he can't hear and George was extremely patient and kind with him and took the time to explain everything to my father and to us. So far my experience with Donnelly's the customer service's top notch as well as their services.

As a feature of my Comfort Protection Plan, I just received a free plumbing inspection. Tom inspected all plumbing and made recommendations that were really helpful. He quickly replaced a flush valve flapper and the cost was really reasonable. I had a few questions, and he provided detailed answers. I am so pleased with the service I have received from Donnelly’s. Duane and Matt for ac and now Tom for plumbing—all great! Also, everyone in the office is helpful, too!

Excellent service! Even though it took a couple of weird turns to get to a straightforward result (a shut-off valve installed on an existing 25-year-old copper line to the fridge) Nick didn't blink an eye. He took care of everything while I was doing my own work, and wrapped up way sooner than I'd hoped. And I had only placed a call that morning!

We had Donnelly come out to repair our clogged 2nd kitchen faucet which was done. I should have had him replace the faucet instead. Someone came out today to replace the faucet. Good company, competent staff, great at keeping customer informed. I’m glad I called them. Once again we needed Donnelly to install a new garbage disposal after our dishwasher died too. It’s the ten year life span.

I can’t say enough good things about Donnelly’s! We called them to say that our very old AC system had finally given out. They had someone come to our house within an hour to check everything out and go over our options for installing a new system. The new system was installed two days later and has been great so far. I’m so impressed with how quick Donnelly’s made this happen. Special shoutout to Eric for being incredible with coordinating everything and the crew who were very accommodating and flexible.

This visit was to replace a leaky hose bib and get information on water quality and house water filtration/water softeners. The hose bib could not be replaced due to thunderstorms. Jack and Oz came to our home to install a new a/c and heat pump. Both were professional and courteous. During the install as well as did a few extra items to ensure all was ok once the unit was running. Anytime I had questions they were both available to answer. You made me have this person out to my house for 79$ when I had told you I didn't need that and knew the part I needed. He got here and said I had to order the part and pick it up then call you for install for $179 minimum. There was no value in the visit. When I get the part which should be before 8/5 I can still use you for the labor install but if so I would like a credit for the 79$ visit from today. It was of no value when l had to find the part for him at a local place to order t he part for him so i could pick it up. At that point I could have done it myself. I did the work.

I had an AC unit and furnace replaced. The whole process was seamless. Every employee that I interacted with was friendly, courteous and professional. Stanley and Joe were fabulous! July 2035 - Justin Henry came out to perform an AC inspection. He was on-time, courteous, and thorough. I now know about possible upgrades I can add to my systems but also that my AC is good condition. Holding at 4 stars. March 2025: Joseph Garber came out for a plumbing inspection which is a covered service for the $20/monthly fee I pay. He was professional, personable, punctual and just nice. All of their service reps should have some of the “P”s listed above. Adjusted my review rating from 2 stars to 4 stars. Jan 2025: Horrible experience with the last service visit by Kevin McCullogh. He arrived without a service appointment while I was at work but my son was at home. My son let him in to do the work when he couldn’t reach me at work. The service was done well but it was an hot mess with the payment. I had to call the main office from work to make arrangements. All of this made my son late for his college class because none of it was planned. Not the experience I am used to. Disappointed and I am doubting using them for another service I was considering.

Very helpful with explaining what he did

Duane was fantastic. Very professional and very polite and knowledgeable. Quickly diagnosed the issue and gave us options for repair. The repair was quickly and properly made to include checking all temps from supply and return vents. Very happy that we called them and they were here within the hour.

Justin did a great job for us as everyone at Donnelly has. Our mini-split drain was clogged which he diagnosed in minutes and had fixed in another 15 min. He even did a second mini-split on the same outside unit. I really like dealing with Donnelly! They showed up the same day and fixed everything quickly.

7/2025: Donnellys came quickly to see our leaking faucet. Worked with us to get a better quote for our repairs. Derrick is always helpful. original: Had a major puddle in our basement and we could not figure out where the water was coming from, unsure whether it was HVAC or Water heater. called Donnelly’s and they were willing to send someone right away. Brian was very professional and found the leak was in fact the water heater. Tank was busted and so we had to replace the whole thing. Fair price and he had the equipment all there already in his car so within 2 hours he had removed the broken WH, cleaned the puddle, and replaced with a new one.

Called them early morning for possible appt and they had someone at our home at 9:30 AM. Brandon was our technician and did a great job explaining and fixing what was wrong with the AC unit. Really great service and would highly recommend!

Tom G was extremely knowledgeable, professional and patient in dealing with us. The fact that he has 25 years experience in the plumbing trade was comforting when making a decision on a new water heater. During installation he found a faulty presure valve and was able to install immediately. Knowing that someone of his caliber was taking care of these two issues put me at ease since my basement is fully finished and either one of these could have cost us thousands in repair and restoration. He wore the booties and put down floor covering and was extremely neat and clean and came equipped with all materials and tools to complete the job efficiently. As my wife would say,"we now have a plumbing guy".

Our plumber, Caleb, showed up 12 hours after we first requested a plumber, he was very competent, extremely polite, fixed our leaking pipe, Installer dishwasher help me swap out the old one, and install brand new guts on one of our toilets. The guy was fast. It was all done in a matter of two hours! The price was reasonable thank you Caleb and thank you, Donnelly’s. Don’t lose Caleb the man is a credit to your team. Come review time, keep him happy: You don’t want to lose Caleb to a competitor! The man is worth his weight in gold! If we ever need another plumbing service, we want Caleb, so don’t let him get off your staff as we may need him again sometime!

I have a sink in a below ground basement. I needed to replace the pump that removes water from the sink and pumps it up and out. both my dehumidifier and A/C uses this sink for the water it generates. I read several reviews on Donnelly's and called them. I was able to have a new pump installed. The technician was able to show me that the motor on my pump was failing. He also inspected all the water lines in the basement, and the water pressure. Given the amount and care he gave to my water system and to the installation of a new pump, the price was fair. The work was done professionally. I am very pleased.

Khalij came today to do my annual air conditioning checkup. He arrived early and got to work right away. Khalij checked the entire unit inside, the outside unit and thermostat. He reported that everything is working properly. He showed me the outside condenser and how the coils had dust and debris covering them. I remembered it was recommended that I use a hose on it but I never did. So, after seeing it, I asked Khalij if he could clean it and of course he could. He also took the time to explain the thermostat to me and also adjusted it for me. I appreciated how helpful and understanding he was. Khalij is friendly, polite and knowledgeable. I noticed how efficiently the air conditioning is working on this hot day.

I had Donnelly's install a new furnace 1-2 year’s ago and they did a quality job. They reached out recently and offered a service on my AC before the summer. So I had them come out and a very nice young man did the inspection. He said the refrigerant level was ok, but looked like the outside unit needed cleaning. I declined, as I am a retired HVAC professional, and took a look after he left. He was right, so I took it all apart (a dirty job) and not only was it real dirty, but the bottom 2 inches was covered in mulch. I need to thank them for pointing this out, as I am not as proactive as I used to be, getting up in age. Can't say enough about the quality of their employees, their professionalism and their work.

Nick Romanowski is an excellent technician - he fixed the cartridge in the shower which was showing evidence of extreme wear due to hard water. He took the time to explain how the hard water creates problems in the faucets, the water heater and throughout the house. He also checked the temperature of the water and noted that it was exceedingly high and then adjusted it. He also replaced the hoses which work off a single on/off lever for the washing machine. It's' great that Nick took the time to explain why these fixes were needed and in a way that was understandable to me. We feel that we're in excellent hands. Thank you very much.

I was going grocery shopping this morning when I saw the water squirting across the cellar. I shut off the water and called Donnelly plumbing.

I had Donnelleys install a new furnace 2 year’s ago and they gave me two $50 gift card as part of the deal, for future use… I had them come back a year later, just for an annual inspection which they indicate is required to keep the manufacturers warranty in force (Which I am skeptical about) . Then when I went to use a $100 dollars worth of gift cards they said I could not use them. So I had to pay in credit card for the service. Then recently, They called me and asked, could they perform an air conditioner check out before the summer. It was $79. I asked the representative on the phone, could I use the gift 2 $50 gift cards and she said you absolutely can and she would put that in the notes. So the young representative came, he was new on the job, but was an OK guy and did a good job. It needed a cleaning on the outside compressor, Which I thought was appropriate.however they were charging $479(what I thought was high, As I am a retired, HVAC professional) … I said I would do the cleaning myself, as I have done hundreds of these and said I would pay the $79 with the gift cards. He said oh sorry you can’t use those, despite what was in the notes, so I was very upset about this as I would not have scheduled this check up, since I am retired(74years) and on a fixed income. He called his supervisor, but to no avail. So in conclusion, I am disappointed that they would not stand behind the commitment that one of their people in customer service made. They sent me a nice report, and in it, they sent a picture of my Renault tankless hot water heater, With a green all OK on it.. The funny thing is that I did not ask him to look at the tank with hot water heater, as I installed it myself the prior year and now right after he left, the Hot water heater cut off in the middle of the shower and I end up taking a cold shower. I should’ve watched him down in the basement but foolishly I did not. I don’t know if he did anything but it’s just coincidence that the hot water heater only a year old is now having problems that I have to investigate. So I would not recommend Donnelly’s, not because of poor quality work, but because they don’t stand behind their commitments and have predatory practices. Derrik Angstadt is a knowledgeable, efficient and friendly technician who prepared my kitchen for installation of a dishwasher. I definitely would like him to do more plumbing-related work at my house. Derrik performed in the same knowledgeable, efficient and friendly way when he installed the dishwasher, taking time to test it to ensure it operated successfully prior to finishing the job. I would recommend Derrik for complex, extensive installation projects such as a dishwasher, where much can go wrong if not carefully installed.

Update Technicians are very helpful and professional. I do appreciate their service. -—————————————————- Customer for many years, paid for maintenance service, and had equipment failure. Donnelly's wanted to charge $450 to replace a condensation line that is nothing more than vinyl tubing that connects to a pump and goes to a drain. I installed it myself for $25 and now Donnelly says it has voided my warranty. Donnelly's wants their customers to pay their high maintenance fees with little regard for their customers. I would give one star and hate to do this because the technicians are terrific. They are always professional and courteous. The company itself is looking to cash grab customers through unreasonably high prices.

First time using Donnelly. Everything went smoothly from initial call to the visit. Nick came within the time frame and did a great job fixing my toilet and faucet and made some adjustments for better water flow. He was courteous and friendly. Very satisfied.

Original post: Very friendly and professional- each service man that has been out has had the same amazing service and are so friendly and honest! With exception of salesman Wade — he was dishonest and lost a huge sale. Canceling all service with Donnelly and going with local family run! See comments below. Update 10/21/24: I am changing my 5 star to 3 stars. What I wrote above is still true, however we will likely be looking for another company. I took a day off of work and waited until 4:30 when a gentleman called to tell me they had 4 techs that called out today and they won’t be making it. You wait until the end of the day to make these calls? AND I texted earlier in the day - HOURS prior with no response. Customer service is going downhill. He told me he had 20 people to reschedule. That takes 8 hours?! I work in a business that makes calls. If my team would take 8 hours to make 20 calls they would be fired. Im even more upset because this is the third time this has happened - but by far the worst. Other times I was notified night before or first thing - so was able to get to work. Update 6/27/25: we needed new HVAC unit and water heater and had serviceman out to advise. A quote for water heater was emailed to us a month or so prior for tanked WH but we wanted tankless. Serviceman could not give quote for systems so he came back a few days later with Wade. We explained we are out of town but my parents could be here and we would be on phone. Dispatcher and serviceman knew this and said fine. Wade made such an issue of it and all we asked for was quotes in writing. He said “we don’t do that.” And “I guess I can write on paper.” I commented “you have ALREADY sent me emailed quote just not for what we want.” It was such a struggle and we just gave up. He came back in house and then started asking for the other quotes we received. All we wanted was best quote doe what we wanted sent to us. I was contacted by Nick, a “senior leader,” via email. He wanted to speak with me about experience. Left no phone number so u replied back to email about 3 weeks ago and asked to cancel service plan. No reply back. I then sent another message and I just see they attempted to charge my CC (good thing I proactively blocked). Advice: go with local family run where they care about you and not always $$.

Great experience yet again! Dan was super friendly and knowledgeable. Explained everything to me as he went and solved my problems quickly. Donnelly’s is great.

My dad had his kitchen faucet replaced today by James Bernier. James was very thorough with the installation paying close attention to detail. He was professional, personable and fun to deal with. Thank you, Donnelley’s, for your quick response time. The turnaround time was about 4 hours from the time I placed my call to when James arrived.

Friendly and knowledgeable

Tom provided excellent service, explaining with clarity problems and their solutions. I've had Gold Star annual inspections since 2022 and Tom performed the most thorough examination. After showing me the abnormal PSI readings, he proceeded to replace the pressure reducing valve. Over the years I accepted the somewhat weak water flow and was surprised what a difference the replacement made Thank you Tom.

Donnelly’s Joseph Garber did another great job at our home. This was free quarterly maintenance review that come with our subscription to their service. Joseph was thorough, had meticulous attention to detail, and examined all our plumbing to ensure tip-top performance. He found a leaky kitchen faucet, researched for a replacement part and ordered on the spot. He’ll be back to install once the part is received. He also checked quality our water to ensure it was within proper levels—which it was. Once again, Joseph & Donnelly’s Plumbing Heating & Cooling exceeded my expectation!

Tom was awesome. He went out of his way to help explain the problem and offer us multiple solutions. He was very friendly and kind. The best customer service I have experienced in a long time.

When things don’t work out as planned, you find out just how important you are as a customer. Jake Howenstein worked tirelessly to resolve our AC issues. When a part he needed wasn’t available that day he returned in the evening and installed window units for our home. He knew we were heading into a heat wave and wanted to ensure we were comfortable until he could get the part he needed. Well above and beyond expectations and we are very grateful for his time, thoughtfulness and dedication.

We had to get a new air conditioning system due to a 5/23/25 power surge.EricJanwas the salesman who came to inspect and see if the unit was able to be fixed. It was not able to be fixed. We got a very fair and reasonable deal to replace our Mitsubishi Mini Shifts. Once. We figured out to best finance, the Donnelly crew was nothing but the most kind and considerate professionals. Domingo Clendaniel installed new special filters on our 3 HVAC systems. He was very polite and very careful, turning off the power to the units before starting the fairly complicated installation. He also fixed a uV bulb on one of the units which had worked loose (not part of the original work order). The total amount of work was completed in about only 30 minutes and everything works great, I would highly recommend Donnelly's and Domingo for any HVAC work you might need.
