Overall the work appears to be well done and the workers were helpful and descriptive. They arrived promptly and got the work done quickly. My only complaints would be that they messed up our basement stairs bringing in the new system (which will need to be fixed and re-painted) and they forgot our UV light which I had to remind them of. It was corrected the same day but had I not said anything it may have been left out. But they did fix some issues that I was not aware would be fixed so it was a welcomed surprise and I appreciate their willingness to go above and beyond what was expected.

Our HVAC was broken for two months because technicians from other companies couldn’t figure out what the issue was. We called Donnelly’s and were able to get a same-day appointment. Matthew Feiller came and was able to fix it in under an hour! We couldn’t be happier.

REVIEW FOR Dylan Butterbusch, Eric Jann, Jake Howenstein and Ahjavon P. On Oct. 7 Dylan arrived for our annual furnace check-up. Unfortunately, 2 of the units showed high CO readings, yellow flames, rusted coils and incomplete combustion. There was no doubt they had to be replaced. Dylan called Eric Jann who came and verified the situation and stated we could have new furnaces delivered and installed the NEXT DAY! On Oct. 8 Jake Howenstein and Ahjavon P. arrived for the installation Things were going well until they discovered that a mouse had blocked an exhaust pipe for one of the units It took a while recut the pipe, remove the mess, and refit the pipe. Jake told me they would stay is long as required to get things in good order. After testing out the units they called it a night. This was truly a magnificent team effort on all fronts, but it is what I have come to expect from Donnelly's. The only thing left outstanding is replacing a uV light in one of the filter units which I fully expect will be done after they receive the bulb. Clark Carpenter

Found the hot water heater was leaking at 9am. Made a call and had a new hot water heater installed and running by 2pm. Caleb the technician was awesome. Explained everything he did and left everything neat and clean like no work was ever done. I thought the cost was a little high but: 1. Beats doing it myself 2. Got done the same day within hours 3. Caleb was great so overall I don’t mind paying a little more than I might have if I shopped around. Will call them when we need help again without question.

Oscar was great. Above and beyond. Had to run 50 feet of new gas line in difficult area at my elderly mother’s house. Can’t say how great Oscar was with my mother also. Would definitely recommend.

Once again Donnelly's impressed me with response and fix to a plumbing issue I had this week. Came out same day, Derrik my tech was polite, professional and had it fixed in a short time. All in all, a happy customer here, also why I've been one of theirs for decades.

10/8/25 Tony did preventive maintenance on my heater. He was efficient, explained everything, and had a nice demeanor! 5/13/25 Joe did preventive maintenance on my plumbing. He was pleasant, did a great job, and explained everything. I was glad to learn that each sink has its own turnoff knob, which I hadn’t known before! 4/21/25 Robert provided great service. He has a nice and professional demeanor. He did routine maintenance on my air conditioner and explained everything too me. 11/24/24 Joseph provided excellent service. He extended a sewage clean out pipe, and promptly arranged for a serviceman from Donnellys sewage department to come out the same day to check on a different issue with the pipe. As he did when he performed my plumbing maintenance a few months ago, he explained everything, answered all my questions, had a professional and pleasant manner, and was so great to work with! 11/24/24 Bobby hydro jetted a pipe and cleaned it out successfully. He was professional, nice, explained everything, answered all my questions, and promptly arranged for another serviceman to come out the next day to take video pictures of the pipe! 11/24/24 Mike checked the condition of my pipe with video, was pleasant, professional, explained everything , and answered all my questions. The whole process of dealing with this sewage pipe issue was made seamless for me from start to finish because of Joseph, Bobby, and Mike! 11/11/24 Caleb replaced a hose bib and explained everything he was doing. He was a pleasure to work with and did a great job! 11/3/24 Nick did a great job. 8/8/2024 Joseph did a routine plumbing check, flushed my water heater, and located my sewage clean out that was hidden by grass. Joseph is the best -he explained everything, had a nice and professional manner, and was a pleasure to work with! 8/1/2024 Justin did routine maintenance on my AC. He had a nice and professional manner! 3/5/23 Tom gave great service. He cleaned out my shower drain, explained everything, had a nice manner, and gave me advice on how to prevent a re-occurence. 11/17/23 Joseph was great showing me tagging the correct levers to turn off water. 11/17/23 Rob did my heater maintenance and provided great service as usual! 8/24/23 Rob did my air conditioner maintenance. He was friendly, professional, thorough, and explained everything he did. Great job!! 8/4/23 Bobby Burkle replaced my water heater, garbage disposal, and fixed a few other things. He was professional, pleasant, and explained everything he was doing!! Professional from the start. On the home visit John and Joe mentioned my financing to address since they could start it tomorrow, i didn’t realize that they meant the whole installation, removing my old home heating + hot water boiler, and replacing with a hot water combi system, + replacing my central air, all in one day! The install team, with Evan onsite first, was very friendly and professional.

My full system replacement (ac and furnace, ductwork) were installed perfectly with attention to detail. Jake explained all aspects of the job, setup and reviewed the functions of my new WiFi thermostat. Jake and his crew were very thoughtful and respectful of my home. Travel path in the house was lined with tarps and the crew covered their shoes when entering. Removal of old system and installation of new was done with no trash or debris left behind. Highly recommend Donnelly’s!

Tom Gardner from Donnelly’s was very friendly and thorough…couldn’t have asked for a better experience…highly recommend!! Our heat pump inverter stopped running during this recent cold weather. Called Donnelly’s at 2AM. Their answering service is 24/7, they took our service request and gave us a call back at 7am. They had a technician at our house by 9am. Khalij Whitaker and later Brandon Cuthbertson responded. They were able to diagnose the issue and fix it! We pay for membership for their service team and it’s well worth it! Both techs were courteous, friendly and professional! Highly recommended company to do business with! Thanks! Donnellys offers members a free inspection of your HVAC system. Better to find out if there are any potential issues before the cold weather hits. Just had their technician Kevin McCullough do a very thorough inspection of our system. However, I sometimes feel they are overpriced.

On the day of service, Tom was able to find our problem (which was different than what we thought/expected) and fixed the problem promptly and thoroughly. Moreover, he was able to fix a second problem that I forgot to mention when calling to set up service. He was extremely respectful of our home, and clearly explained every step of the process. I would not hesitate to use Donnelly’s services again in the future.

We had a great experience with Khalij when we cleaned our air conditioning system. He went to great pains to explain what he would do and why. He took before and after pictures for us. It was a pleasure to deal with him.

I had my hearing system proactively checked today by Khalij. He was very courteous, friendly and honest! He shared data with me concerning my heater and I felt very comfortable with what he was telling me. I wish I could have Khalij be my permanent technician!

George did an excellent job on the annual review of my heating system.

Oscar was very pleasant to talk to and, more importantly, he spent time making sure everything was hooked up right and the appliances were working properly. He was very punctual and made sure to clean up after the job was completed. I am going to use Donnelly’s for every future plumbing work…and I’m going to ask to send Oscar, if possible.

Matt has been here the last few years to evaluate my HVAC system. He’s always done a great job very professional provides good advice and in general just very happy with the service. The last service there were repairs that needed to be done to my system, he evaluated look for all possible options and eventually, I decided to replace the unit based on the age And the cost the repairs would cost in general. He’s very professional he’s on time and I’m glad that he’s been my service provider for the last few visits.

Several of your employees were involved in am extensive project in my back yard... extensive sump pump drainage system had to be replaced. All of these young men were fantastic. Very hard workers, polite, informative, courteous, kept us informed of progress. I also noticed that they often had a smile on their face while working and speaking to each other. Dylan was here for an hvac inspection/maintenance. He suggested a surge protector since we have had power surges in the past. He installed the surge protector for us. He also suggested other maintenance items for us to take care of which we will do(changing the filter in the inside unit). He brought Eric in to address an issue with room temperature and he told us about an option of adding a unit to the room that is too cold in the winter, which we will consider.

The ease of scheduling an appointment, an appointment being available quickly, and notification of when the technician would arrive were positives for me. I needed a hose bib valve replaced . Joe , the technician, was polite and thorough. He assessed the repair, explained the work, quoted the amount, and preceded to complete the repair. Joe then explained how to prevent any damage to the line during the winter. Joe was engaging in conversation and was very understanding when I asked for things to be explained several times. Overall it was a very positive experience.

Jack and Oz came to our home to install a new a/c and heat pump. Both were professional and courteous. During the install as well as did a few extra items to ensure all was ok once the unit was running. Anytime I had questions they were both available to answer. I highly recommend them and Donnelly for any type of home repair needed for a/c, heating and or plumbing.

Replacing our gas heater was less stressful than we had anticipated. And my wife and I are glad we chose Donnelly's to complete this monster task. Donnelly’s has been keeping my home cool in summer and warm in winter for more than 20 years! Their new unit installations are expertly done - quickly and cleanly. They employ good people and honor their warranties. Kevin recently did a routine “Heat Check” on our relatively new furnace (No Charge). Brandon just did a routine ”A/C Check” today, March 19, 2025. He replaced a filter in the furnace unit and another part that had only 10% useful life in the A/C unit outside. The cost was moderate; it’s a good feeling to know that the A/C is in good working order for the summer months to come.

Went through the Donnelly's estimate process recently and was dissatisfied with this process. Sales rep/tech was nice and knowledgeable, but after 90 minutes of assessing my property, I was informed that the company does not provide written estimates or exact prices until a customer commits to moving forward with the project. Um, what? The "ballpark" quote I was given was far more than 2 other reputable companies that gave me (exact) quotes. I was given a couple of flimsy reasons for this procedure, but ultimately, it's like going to a store and being interested in a shirt, and then being told that you can't know the price until you commit to buying the shirt. I felt pressured to make a quick decision without all the information. It's too bad, the tech had a lot of expertise and was friendly, and just following policy, but with a policy like that, I would not feel comfortable using Donnelly's for my HVAC needs. The extra star is for friendly employees.

Hassan Matthews was our technician today and he was excellent! Professional, courteous and knowledgeable. He performed a furnace check and was detailed with questions I had. He emphasized the importance of changing the filter every 3 months. Donnelly’s makes customer service their priority!

We are so happy we started with Donnelly's in 2019 after issues with a soaked basement due to hot water heater and then a brand new sump pump failure 3 weeks later. We could not stay with the previous company. Donnelly's workers are very skilled, thorough and professional, explaining everything and giving great advice on what is best. We had Shane come a couple days ago to fix a leak with our heating unit and Ed today for spring maintenance. They both did an excellent job!!! This is Joe’s second time responding to our plumbing needs. First was the install of a beautifully functional slop sink in the basement. Second was an emergency call for a sewage leak. Both instances Joe quickly assessed the issue at hand, formulated a plan with an accurate quote and finished the job within hours by himself! Joe is a talented young plumber and a true professional. Every job he has worked on for us was finished quickly, accurately, and cleanly.

Everyone I interacted with were personable and friendly. We had to have our water heater replaced in an emergency, and the tech was able to come out the same day to evaluate and give a price. It was too late in the day to have it replaced then, but he was out the next day and installation only took about 3 hours. He also added a pressure regulator to the main line since our pressure was too high due to township pipe upgrades. We did encounter an issue with the new heater, as it wasn't producing any hot water. The tech came right back to investgate the issue and discovered it was caused by a fault in one of the breaker boxes for our backup power generator. Even though it wasn't technically his responsibility, the tech was able to bypass the box so we could get power to the heater. Would definitely recommend Donnelly's for all your plumbing needs, and they will be the first we call when we need a plumber again.

Connelly’s responded to my call immediately! Scheduled for next day, a Saturday on holiday weekend and no additional charges. Caleb called 2 hours early and he arrived within 30 minutes as promised. The toilet flange was there since 1958 and not reusable. Caleb worked diligently to get the old iron pipe ready for a new flange and completed the job and cleaned up the floor and sink area. 5 Star job 👍

Brandon did an excellent job inspecting all of our heating elements, cleaned our burners and replaced the inducer, a $2,100 part, under warranty at no cost to use. Everything else checked out great with pictures and recommendations.

Suggested we leave the fan on during the heat wave but did not detect humidity in the house! His suggestion seems to have worked! The message has not appeared since he turned the fan on. Had an issue with my powder room toilet running much longer, post-flush, then usual. I’m a dope when it comes to plumbing, so instead of trying to Macgyver something I called Donnelly’s (of whom I’m a member of their Comfort Protection Plan) and they coordinated a visit later that same day. Tom dropped by & worked his magic, then reminded us that as part of the aforementioned plan/membership we were due a complimentary/annual whole home plumbing inspection that was approaching one year since previously having been fulfilled.
